Sangean to be at September CEDIA Expo
2007-06-29 -Sangean America
Sangean will have a representative attending CEDIA this year to demonstrate their HD Radio line, and more specifically the HDT-1 and HDT-1X editions.
"Sangean has a great reputation for radio but it wasn't until the release of the HDT-1 that we realized how little interaction we had with custom integration dealers. We are here to begin addressing this issue. We will be showing off our latest software versions of the HDT-1X, and hopefully we will have a prototype of our Wi-Fi enable Internet Tuner," Says Clayton Scott, Sales & Marketing Manager for Sangean America. "Although we will not be exhibiting at the show we will be setting up appointments and have arranged for product demonstrations at Listen Up located in Denver, Co. We expect there to be a lot of enthusiasm in the industry for HD Radio and our other coming products."
HDT-1X First Shipment Sold Out!
2007-06-22 -Sangean America
The HDT-1X, created based on consumer demand, seems to have been the answer customers were seeking.
“We knew that when we were designing the product that it was based on consumer feedback, but never would have guessed there were that many people interested in it,” according to Selwyn Wynstock, VP Sales & Marketing for Sangean America. “I think everyone has been looking for this kind of vindication. HD Radio has not develop as quickly as we would have liked with the exception of the HDT-1 and the HDT-1X. It seems consumers are now getting excited about HD Radio and the retailers are getting the hint.”
The first shipment of HDT-1X?s arrived in late June and was sold out before the container cleared customs. The next shipment, due to arrive in mid-July is also mostly sold.
